About Lawrence Kantor, Inc.

Lawrence Kantor, Inc., plumbing & heating supplies, has served the North-Central New Jersey area for more than 50 years. The company is run by the third-generation of family members. In 1912, when Kantor Brothers was founded in Newark, NJ, shipments arrived by rail and supplies such as cast-iron soil pipe, were delivered on chain-drive flatbed trucks. In 1954, Lawrence Kantor (Sr.), left his father's company to found Lawrence Kantor, Inc., at 169 Scotland Road, Orange, New Jersey, adjacent to Interstate 280.

Although Kantor Supply's original mission was to serve the plumbing & heating trades, its core business has expanded to include sales to other wholesalers as well as retail sales through its elegant showroom. The convenient location of the showroom, on a four lane county highway adjacent to Interstate 280, has contributed to its success. "We are in Essex County, in the heart of populous Northern New Jersey, serving a market of several million consumers, including those from communities like Short Hills, Livingston and Essex Fells," says Jonathan Kantor, Vice President of Lawrence Kantor, Inc.

Committed to serving its retail customers courteously and efficiently, Kantor Supply has benefited from builder and contractor referrals, as well as those from satisfied retail customers. The showroom displays a wide variety of Kohler fixtures, faucets and accessories. Other products on display include vanities, shower doors, medicine cabinets, door hardware, accent tiles and ceiling fans. A knowledgeable sales staff is available to assist in the selection of a wide array of functional and decorative items.
